Five Fruits for Friday Fun

Happy Friday! Today I will be sharing with you five amazing fruits and just a few of their nutritious benefits! Fruit can be eaten anytime: for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack. They go great in smoothies, salads, salsas, desserts, and more! Today I will be talking about raspberries, oranges, limes, avocados, and bananas.

Raspberries have powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. They’re also extremely beneficial for autoimmune disorders such as arthritis, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and lupus.

Oranges are extremely helpful for depression and PTSD. Also, they protect the body from radiation damage.

Limes prevent respiratory and viral illnesses. Eat them if you think that you’re about to get sick.

Avocados contain 25 essential nutrients, including iron, copper, and magnesium. They boost the immune system, strengthen the heart, rebuild the nervous system, and slow down the aging process. Click here for two amazing guacamole recipes.

Bananas help strengthen the adrenal glands and fight viral issues. They also replenish electrolytes in the body, so make sure to eat one before and after you workout or exercise.

Make sure to buy all of your fruits organic (if possible), or check out the Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen list. A special thank you goes out to Anthony William for his amazing information on fruit!

Do you like these fruits? Do you have any amazing vegan recipes including these fruits? Share them in the comments section!

Blessings to All,

Danielle 🙂

Book Review: Life-Changing Foods by Anthony William

This weekend, I went to Los Angeles, California to hear Anthony William speak. If you don’t know who Anthony William is, click here. He gave 15 readings to random people from the audience, but the most important thing that he did was give each audience member something called the Light Blast. The Light Blast is when Spirit summons white light from Heaven to go through each audience member. This white light speeds up the healing process for anywhere from 2 to 6 months. So, that’s pretty important for anyone trying to heal from chronic illnesses.

Anyways, at that event I received my very own copy of Anthony’s new book, Life-Changing Foods. Today, I’m going to be sharing with you what I think of it and what it’s about.

First of all, I’m just going to put it out there that I spent the whole 4 hour plane ride back home from LA reading this book. That’s right, 4 hours! That’s how amazing this book is!

Motivation Monday

Happy Monday, everybody! I know that sometimes Mondays can be hard. You have to go back to work or school, and you have to take back all of your responsibilities. However, Monday is also a fresh, new start. However your day goes on Monday, that sets up how the rest of your week is going to go. So my goal with Motivation Monday is to help you to start off your week positively! If you can make it through Monday with a positive attitude, you can make it through anything with a positive attitude!
Every Monday I will share with you 5 powerful quotes about motivational subjects such as success, health, forgiveness, love, happiness, and inspiration. Today I’m going to share with you 5 quotes about embarrassment and being yourself.

Why, you ask? Right now, I’m sitting in a classroom full of my friends and peers. Because it’s Halloween, I’m dressed as a lion, and I have ears, a tail, a black nose and whiskers, everything. Nobody else in my class is dressed up, not one. I didn’t bring a change of clothes or even a sweatshirt, so I’m stuck being the odd duck (or, in this case, lion) all day long.

Luckily for me, I’m content with myself and I love who I am, so, although it’s hard, I’m not caring what anyone else thinks right now, and I want today’s quotes help you to find the courage to be yourself and love yourself, no matter what anyone else thinks.

Smoothie Sunday: Nectarine NIGHTMARE!

Happy Sunday! Because today is a fresh start to a fresh new week, I’d like to share with you recipes for my favorite meal: fresh smoothies. Smoothies are amazing meals that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a midday snack that will keep you full for hours.

You can literally put ANYTHING in a smoothie! That’s what’s so amazing about them: you can personalize smoothies with all of your favorite fruits and vegetables!

For all of my smoothie recipes, it’s ALWAYS optional to add lettuce, spinach, kale, dandelion greens, arugula, parsley, and any other healthy vegetables that you desire. Also, for a milkshake-like thicker smoothie, add half of an avocado or a banana.

Today’s recipe is called the Nectarine Nightmare, but don’t worry, it’s only called that because tomorrow is Halloween! It’s actually a very pretty and delicious smoothie (or is it?). Trick or treat? Only one way to find out! Here’s the spooktacular recipe…

What to Buy Instead of Candy This Halloween

If you’re anything like me, then you’re not too thrilled about giving out candy on Halloween. If you won’t eat candy because of its added sugar, artificial colors, and carcinogens (toxins that cause cancer), then why would you want to give it to innocent children?

Now I know, everyone else is doing it, so what does it matter? However, everyone can make a difference, not matter how big or small. Your no-candy-on-Halloween trend will catch on if you know what hot commodities to give out instead.

If you want to make a health statement this Halloween, consider giving out these fun goodies this Halloween!
